2026/27 Romania ARICE Scholarship for International Students

THE ROMANIAN AGENCY FOR INVESTMENT AND FOREIGN TRADE (ARICE) announces the launch of the file selection process for granting a number of 40 scholarships to foreign citizens to study in Romania starting with the 2026-2027 academic year.

Candidates worldwide are eligible to apply except for the EU and EFTA member states for the ARICE Scholarship Program. Moreover, there is no application fee, and applicants will undergo a one-year Romanian Language Course for Free to understand the Romanian Language.

Scholarship Duration

• Postgraduate/Residency: 3-6 years
• Doctoral: 3-5 years
• Note: Dental medicine, stomatology, and pharmacy are excluded from scholarships.

Eligibility Requirements for the 2026/27 Romania ARICE Scholarship

• The Scholarship is open to all Nationals except EU.
• Priority is given to citizens of non-EU and non-EFTA states.
• Romanian citizens are not eligible.
• Citizens who have applied for protection in Romania are not eligible.
• Citizens who have a long-term residence permit in Romania are not eligible.
