Within the framework of the TIGER project (Transforming and Innovating in Graduate Education via Research) financed by the French government’s Plan d’Investissement d’Avenir, Aix-Marseille Université has set up a number of measures to further increase its internationalisation.

From the start of the 2022/2023 academic year, the university has financed international students with excellent backgrounds to join the ranks of these entities, combining teaching, innovation, and high-level research.

How to Apply for the 2026 Aix-Marseille University Tiger Excellence Scholarships
- Choose your desired Master’s programme from among the eligible programs.
- Submit your application for the programme of your choice (via the appropriate platform, depending on my personal situation)
- Programme coordinators review the applications and select the candidates who will be awarded the scholarship.
- Receive your program admission letter.
- If you have been selected for the scholarship, you will receive, shortly afterwards, your award letter for the TIGER Master’s Excellence Scholarship.
Step 1 : I choose my Master’s programme from among the eligible programs.
Step 2 : I submit my application for the programme of my choice (via the appropriate platform depending on my personal situation).
Step 3: The programme coordinators review the applications and select the candidates who will be awarded the scholarship.
Step 4 : I receive my program admission letter.
Step 5: If I have been selected for the scholarship, I will receive, shortly afterwards, my award letter for the TIGER Master’s Excellence Scholarship.
