Applications are now open for the Erasmus Mundus PlantHealth Scholarship for the academic year 2026/28. This is a Fully Funded Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree Scholarship, designed by 5 leading European universities.

The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is open to students from all around the world and is awarded by Erasmus Mundus, funded by the European Union. The program is recognized as a European master of Excellence in the field of Plant Health.

Criterias for the 2026 Erasmus Mundus PlantHealth Scholarship

To be considered for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship in PlantHealth, you must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field (Final-year students of the BSc degree can also apply).
  • Satisfy the English Language proficiency requirements of the Erasmus program
  • Your application must include two reference letters.

Program Structure

  • First Year (M1): Students must select between Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain) or Padova University (Italy). All courses are taught in English.
  • Second Year (M2): Specialisation in any topic. The second year must be spent in a different country from that of the M1. The First semester of the 2nd year can be in Spain, Germany, France, or Italy.
  • Thesis: The last semester will be devoted to the Master’s thesis, and it can be anywhere in the world.

  • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for screening and interview in 2026 before the final selection of awardees.
