We are currently seeking a talented and creative 2D Animator to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for an animator who can create dynamic football and sports animations while maintaining high production quality, consistency, and speed.

About the Role

At DejiToons, we create engaging animated content centered around football, culture, and storytelling. We are looking for an animator who can deliver exciting action sequences, expressive character performances, and cinematic scenes that captivate audiences.

The ideal candidate should be able to balance creativity with efficiency, follow storyboards accurately, and contribute ideas that elevate the overall quality of our productions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D animations for football and sports-related content.
• Animate character movements, facial expressions, and action sequences with realism and impact.
• Follow storyboard direction while enhancing scenes through creative input.
• Execute smooth frame-by-frame animation and seamless transitions.
• Work closely with the team to maintain consistency across projects.
• Deliver animations within agreed deadlines without compromising quality.
• Contribute ideas that improve storytelling, action choreography, and viewer engagement.

Requirements

• Strong 2D animation skills with experience in character animation and action scenes.
• Ability to animate football and sports sequences dynamically and realistically.
• Good understanding of timing, pacing, camera movement, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with frame-by-frame animation techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and deadline-driven.
• Knowledge of anime or cartoon-style animation is an added advantage.
• Creative mindset with the ability to contribute ideas beyond assigned tasks.
