Job Summary
- Our client, a leading manufacturer of branded sanitary products, is seeking qualified Mechanical and Electrical Trainee Technicians.
- The ideal candidates will support maintenance operations, troubleshoot equipment issues, and help ensure the smooth functioning of production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and first-line maintenance activities
- Ensure all mechanical maintenance is performed safely and in compliance with environmental regulations
- Maintain proper housekeeping of work areas and plant facilities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of technical tasks and projects
- Participate in troubleshooting equipment and process-related issues
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding operational activities
- Report risks, faults, and incidents to appropriate personnel
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Basic knowledge or experience in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or HND in Engineering or a related discipline
- 0–1 year of relevant work experience
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding manual tasks
