Admin and Finance Officer At Jobberman

- Remuneration: NGN 200,000 – 250,000 Net
The Finance & Inventory Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing regular reports, and overseeing inventory management functions (excluding procurement).
This role ensures the integrity of financial data, supports effective budget monitoring, and provides management with timely insights to guide decision-making.
Responsibilities of the Admin and Finance Officer At Jobberman
Financial Record-Keeping & Reporting:
- Record financial transactions and maintain/file all supporting documentation.
- Track petty cash and general expenses, ensuring clear records of amounts disbursed and their purpose.
- Prepare reports indicating product sales, in-house use, stock balances, and restocking needs.
- Compile and share financial reports with the Financial Management Partner (FMP) as required.
- Assist the MD and FMP with additional financial tasks as assigned.
Inventory & Store Management:
- Store keeping and disbursement of requisitioned products.
- Maintain accurate stock records, ensuring timely updates of product usage, balances, and adjustments.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Monitor stock levels to support timely restocking.
- Ensure safe, organised storage of all products and supplies.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and inventory data
- Good organisational and time management skills
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and financial/inventory management software
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance, bookkeeping, or inventory management (experience in beauty, retail, or wellness industry is an advantage)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting best practices
Key Performance Indicators:
- Financial transactions and records are accurate, timely, and well-documented
- Weekly reports provide clear insights into sales, expenses, and inventory usage
- Stock levels are consistently updated, discrepancies are flagged early, and restocking needs are anticipated
- Information flows seamlessly to the MD and FMP, enabling efficient financial oversight
