Ahaki Institute Scholarship 2026 for African Students

The Ahaki Scholarship for Sexual and Reproductive Health is an initiative of the Afya na Haki Institute, established to foster a new generation of African leaders in health, human rights, and social justice.

As part of Ahaki’s commitment to transformative education rooted in African realities, the scholarship supports outstanding students enrolled in its pioneering Bachelor’s Degree and Postgraduate Diploma programmes in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH).

This scholarship aims to address long-standing disparities in health education and leadership by making high-quality, justice-oriented SRH training accessible to talented individuals particularly those from marginalised communities across the continent.

Through this initiative, Ahaki seeks to empower advocates, practitioners, and policy influencers who are deeply committed to advancing reproductive justice and health equity in Africa.

How to Apply for the Ahaki Institute Scholarship 2026

Interested candidates must have applied for any of Ahaki Institute’s academic programme. Once the application is submitted, they must submit a separate Scholarship Application, which includes:

  • A personal statement (max. 500 words) detailing their motivation, career aspirations, and intended community impact
  • A current CV or resume
  • A reference letter (either related to your academic or professional work in SRH)
