Job Description

The Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Health, Uyo, has announced the commencement of applications for its junior staff recruitment into the Akwa Ibom State Civil Service.

The Ministry invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for three key positions across designated Salary Grade Levels (SGL).

The available vacancies include:

Community Health Assistant – SGL 04
Health Attendant – SGL 02
Mortuary Attendant – SGL 02

Eligibility & Requirements

1. Community Health Assistant (SGL 04)

Applicants must present any of the following:

First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
SSCE / NECO / WASSCE / NABTEB
Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW) qualification

2. Health Attendant (SGL 02)

First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)

3. Mortuary Attendant (SGL 02)

First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)

General Requirement for All Applicants:

Must be between 18 and 50 years old
