Coinbase is on a mission to build an open financial system for the world and we’re looking for an Analytics Engineer Intern to join our team for a 12-week internship in Summer 2026. This role bridges the worlds of data engineering, data science, and business analytics, helping build scalable, impactful data solutions that power decision-making across the company.
What You’ll Do
- Build and refine data pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Model complex business data into clear, actionable insights.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and code excellence.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and analysts to optimize data systems.
- Explore LLMs and automation tools to enhance data workflows.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with Python and SQL for data analysis and transformation.
- Coursework or experience in data analytics, data modeling, or storytelling.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for continuous learning.
- (Bonus) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) or ETL/ELT pipelines.
