The British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation (BATNF) has officially opened applications for the 2026 Farmers for the Future (F4F) Grant Programme, a youth-focused agricultural entrepreneurship initiative designed to empower serving NYSC members with viable agribusiness ideas.
Implemented in partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and the New Nigeria Foundation, the programme provides equity-free funding, mentorship, business development support, and access to valuable industry networks to help young entrepreneurs build and scale sustainable agribusiness ventures.
Grant Benefits
Successful participants will receive a share of ₦10 million in equity-free grant funding:
- 1st Prize (1 Winner): ₦3,000,000
- 2nd Prize (2 Winners): ₦2,000,000 each
- 3rd Prize (3 Winners): ₦1,000,000 each
In addition to funding, winners will enjoy:

Competition Stages
1. Application Phase
Interested NYSC members submit their applications through the online portal.
2. Virtual Bootcamp
Twenty selected agribusinesses will participate in a rigorous virtual bootcamp to refine their business models and develop compelling investment pitches.
3. Pitch Event & Awards
The top 10 participants will pitch their businesses before a panel of judges and investors, after which six winners will be selected.
4. Mentorship & Business Growth Support
Winning participants will receive funding, mentorship, technical guidance, and strategic connections to help scale their ventures.
5. Join the F4F Alumni Network
Graduates of the programme gain continued access to mentorship, networking opportunities, funding connections, and market access support.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to currently serving NYSC members with innovative and viable agribusiness ideas or existing agricultural enterprises seeking support to grow and scale.
