The United Nations Population Fund is currently recruiting for communication-focused United Nations Volunteer (UNV) roles in Nigeria. These positions play a vital role in advancing communication strategies, strengthening advocacy efforts, and enhancing the visibility of programmes dedicated to promoting the rights and well-being of women and girls.
Available Positions
1. Communication Analyst
- Support the development and execution of communication strategies and plans
- Create engaging content for media and digital platforms
- Assist with media relations, outreach, and stakeholder engagement
- Enhance the visibility and impact of UNFPA programmes
2. Programme Assistant, Communication
- Support the implementation of communication initiatives and activities
- Assist in campaign coordination and execution
- Contribute to programme visibility across multiple platforms
- Provide content creation and general communications support
Requirements
- Must be a Nigerian national
- Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Demonstrated interest in gender equality, advocacy, and development work
- Ability to work effectively in a team and dynamic environment
