Role Overview

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Communications Volunteer to join our communications team.

In this role, you’ll help design, curate, and distribute monthly newsletters that inform, inspire, and engage our growing community — including mentees, alumni, and partners.

If you have a passion for writing, digital storytelling, and connecting people through creative content, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and send monthly newsletters to IHA’s mailing lists (general, partners, and alumni).
• Use tools such as Zoho Campaigns, Substack, or similar platforms to create visually engaging newsletters.
• Collaborate with the IHA team to develop creative content — from community highlights to inspiring stories and practical resources.
• Write, edit, and proofread newsletter content for clarity, tone, and brand consistency.
• Track engagement metrics (opens, clicks, subscriptions) and recommend strategies to boost reach and impact.
• Stay up to date with digital communication trends to enhance audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience creating newsletters or digital content (preferably using Zoho, Substack, or similar tools).
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with a flair for making content engaging and relatable.
• Creative mindset with an eye for visuals, layout, and audience connection.
• Self-driven, organized, and attentive to detail and deadlines.
• Passionate about women’s empowerment, leadership, and personal development.
