Your Role: Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer, you’ll help shape the backbone of Imunify360’s Patchman product a platform that identifies, patches, and protects servers at scale.

You’ll architect systems capable of processing millions of operations per second, debug complex issues, and ensure Imunify360 remains the gold standard in server security.

What You’ll Do

Here’s what a day in this role might look like:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems for Patchman.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues, deep-diving into the codebase to find root causes.
• Operate and maintain a large fleet of servers including API gateways, load balancers, and internal nodes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate delivery, and keep releases running smoothly.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure top-notch code quality.
• Monitor system performance, spotting bottlenecks and improving reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine architecture and product direction.

Requirement

You’re perfect for this role if you have:

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with Kafka, ClickHouse, RabbitMQ or similar high-throughput data pipelines
• Proficiency with SQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Understanding of high-traffic APIs (handling 100k+ requests/sec)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and automated testing
• Experience with Django
• Great debugging skills and an analytical mindset
• Fluent English communication (upper-intermediate or higher)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Salt
• Familiarity with monitoring systems
