Job Summary
In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain backend systems including APIs, databases, and server-side logic. You’ll work closely with product and frontend teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions while contributing to key technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Python, Java, or similar technologies
- Build RESTful or GraphQL APIs
- Manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) and optimize performance
- Implement authentication systems and integrate third-party services
- Support deployment using tools like Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in backend development
- Strong knowledge of at least one backend framework
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a startup environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices, Redis, or message queues
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Experience building scalable, high-traffic applications
