Buy Shrooms, one of Canada’s top online psilocybin dispensaries, is looking for a Blog Writer to help shape the future of evidence-based psychedelic education. We’re known for delivering lab-tested magic mushrooms, microdosing capsules, and infused edibles nationwide paired with a robust content hub that empowers both beginners and experienced psychonauts.
About the Role
You’ll own the entire blog pipeline: pitch ideas, research, write, edit, and publish articles that inform, inspire, and support our e-commerce growth. Your writing will turn complex research on psilocybin and microdosing into engaging, SEO-friendly content that helps readers make informed choices.
What You’ll Do
- Write 2–4 long-form, keyword-optimized articles per month (1,200–1,800 words).
- Translate scientific studies and wellness trends into accessible, trustworthy content.
- Maintain a three-month editorial calendar aligned with campaigns and product launches.
- Optimize posts using SEO best practices and collaborate with marketing on repurposing content.
- Track performance in GA/GSC and refine headlines, CTAs, and keywords for better engagement.

Work with subject-matter experts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of professional writing experience (science, wellness, or e-commerce a plus).
- Strong understanding of psychedelics, microdosing, or functional mushrooms.
- Solid SEO and CMS (WordPress/Shopify) skills.
- Ability to write with scientific integrity while keeping the tone approachable.
- Familiarity with Canada’s regulatory landscape for controlled substances.

Bonus Skills: interviewing experts, basic CRO, simple design skills (Canva/Figma).
