Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our direct sales team.
This entry-level opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or individuals seeking to build a successful career in sales and business development. The role involves identifying potential customers, promoting products/services, and driving revenue growth through direct engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers through field sales, referrals, and lead generation activities
- Present and promote company products/services to prospective clients
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs and market trends
- Participate in daily/weekly sales meetings and training sessions
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Daily/weekly sales targets achieved
- Number of new clients acquired
- Conversion rate from leads to customers
- Revenue generated
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0 – 2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles (NYSC/Internship experience is an added advantage)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of confidence and persuasive ability
- Goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed in sales
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a target-driven and field-based environment
