Call Center Officer at 99kafrica

Are you confident speaking with people, good at building relationships, and interested in sales, marketing, or e-commerce? 99kafrica is hiring a Vendor Acquisition Officer to help identify, engage, and onboard vendors to its platform. The position is fully remote and offers an opportunity for an entry-level professional to build experience in vendor management, communication, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Researching and identifying potential vendors that match 99kafrica’s target market.
• Reaching out to prospective vendors through phone calls, emails, social media, and other communication channels.
• Introducing vendors to the platform and clearly explaining its benefits.
• Guiding prospective vendors through the requirements and onboarding process.
• Following up with interested vendors and answering their questions.
• Building relationships with prospective and newly onboarded vendors.
• Working to convert qualified prospects into active vendors.
• Collecting the necessary vendor information and documentation.
• Reviewing and verifying submitted vendor details and documents.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• A minimum of a Diploma in a related field.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to confidently engage potential vendors and follow up consistently.
• A willingness to work toward vendor acquisition and onboarding targets.
