TREXM Energyis Recruiting for the following Vacant Roles:

  • ​Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Design Engineer
  • ​Process Design Engineer
  • ​Operations Manager (Warri)

​Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Design Engineer

​The I&C Design Engineer is responsible for the “nervous system” of our projects. You will design the systems that monitor and control our industrial processes, ensuring that every piece of equipment operates within safe and efficient parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design: Develop comprehensive control philosophies and design architectures for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and SCADA systems.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and review critical engineering documents, including P&IDs, Loop Diagrams, Instrument Index, and Wiring Schematics.
  • Equipment Selection: Prepare detailed specifications and data sheets for field instruments, control valves, and fire and gas detection systems.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to international engineering standards (ISA, IEEE, IEC) and local safety regulations.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems into the overall plant design.

​Process Design Engineer

​As a Process Design Engineer, you are the architect of the energy flow. You will focus on designing and optimizing the chemical and physical processes that form the core of our energy production and delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Simulation: Use industry-standard software to perform mass and heat balance calculations and simulate complex process flows.
  • Design Development: Produce Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) that define the technical blueprint of a project.
  • Equipment Sizing: Calculate the required specifications for major equipment, including separators, heat exchangers, pumps, and distillation columns.
  • Safety Analysis: Lead or participate in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) and HAZID studies to identify and mitigate potential process risks.
  • Optimization: Analyze existing systems to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve throughput and reduce energy consumption.

​Operations Manager (Based in Warri)

​Located in our strategic hub in Warri, the Operations Manager serves as the bridge between technical execution and business strategy. You will oversee the day-to-day activities that keep our regional operations running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Manage the end-to-end execution of projects and facility maintenance within the Warri region to ensure targets are met on time and within budget.
  • Team Management: Provide mentorship and leadership to a diverse team of engineers and field staff, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for local clients, subcontractors, and community stakeholders to maintain strong, productive relationships.
  • Resource Allocation: Oversee the logistics of equipment, manpower, and materials to ensure maximum operational uptime.
  • Performance Reporting: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to executive leadership regarding operational efficiency and regional growth.
