Which is why inDrive is officially hiring a Chief Wahala Officer (CWO), someone experienced in surviving, understanding, and navigating everyday Lagos movement stress.

Responsibilities:

As the Chief Wahala Officer, you will be expected to:

• Understand and identify different forms of Lagos wahala
• Help reduce unnecessary movement and delivery stress across the city
• Survive traffic without losing your mind
• Navigate rain, sun, hold-ups, and peak-hour madness professionally
• Speak for the people during moments of extreme transport frustration
• Detect “Your package is almost there” situations before they become a problem

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience navigating Lagos
• Strong understanding of traffic shortcuts that somehow still lead to traffic
• Proven history of moving around Lagos under pressure
• Ability to function after hearing “I’m outside” for 45 minutes
• Deep familiarity with Lagos survival behavior

Ideal candidates should be:

• Well-known within their community or online audience
• Strong opinion leaders with influence over fellow Lagosians
• Naturally entertaining, expressive, or relatable
• Comfortable speaking publicly about everyday Lagos experiences
• Owns a Small business/understands delivery challenges
