Computer Vision Engineer at ShipHero

ShipHero, a leading eCommerce fulfillment platform trusted by over 5,000 brands and 3PLs, is hiring a Computer Vision Engineer to join its hands-on engineering team in Buenos Aires. ShipHero powers billions in eCommerce orders each year through its warehouse management software and automated fulfillment network. About the Role

This role is based in the ShipHero lab in Coghlan, Buenos Aires, with at least four days a week required on-site. You’ll design, prototype, and test computer vision pipelines that enhance hardware and software across ShipHero’s warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize computer vision pipelines on real-time edge devices
• Train and fine-tune models for warehouse applications
• Collect and manage datasets for training and evaluation
• Redesign Human/Device interfaces using classical CV and ML techniques

• Work with cameras and real-time vision systems in production environments

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent experience
• Experience in Python
• Hands-on experience with deep learning tools (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Experience fine-tuning and deploying models (e.g., YOLO, RT-DETR, NanoSAM)
• Solid understanding of classical computer vision fundamentals
• Real-time camera experience

• Comfortable working with Linux

Bonus Skills

• Experience with C++ and CUDA
