Salary: ₦150,000 per month

Are you passionate about helping people, solving problems, and creating great customer experiences? PayOak, a Nigerian fintech platform that provides secure digital escrow services for online transactions, is looking for a Customer Support & User Success Intern to join its Customer Experience team.

This 12-month internship offers recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer support, user success, fintech operations, and customer engagement while working in a fast-paced startup environment.

About the Role

As a Customer Support & User Success Intern, you will play a key role in helping users understand and successfully use PayOak’s platform. You’ll support customer inquiries, assist with onboarding, gather feedback, and contribute to initiatives that improve the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • Respond to customer inquiries through approved communication channels
  • Help users understand PayOak’s products, services, and processes
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams
  • Deliver professional and customer-focused support

User Onboarding & Education

  • Support new users during account setup and onboarding
  • Guide customers on how to use the platform effectively
  • Assist in creating educational resources, FAQs, and user guides
  • Encourage adoption of relevant PayOak features and services

Customer Experience Monitoring

  • Collect customer feedback and identify common concerns
  • Monitor support trends and user satisfaction levels
  • Share insights and recommendations with the team
  • Contribute ideas for improving the customer journey

Support Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate support records and documentation
  • Assist with tracking support tickets and issue resolution
  • Support the preparation of customer service reports
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this internship, applicants must:

  • Be 30 years old or younger
  • Have graduated from a tertiary institution in 2022 or later
  • Have successfully completed the NYSC programme
  • Be available for the full 12-month internship programme
