We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our mission of powering research, insights, and decision-making across the DeFi ecosystem.
The Role: Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst at Objective Labs, you will work at the intersection of research, data, and client servicing. You’ll analyze crypto markets, design risk models, and produce actionable insights for clients and internal teams.
Your work will directly influence protocol health, risk management, and strategy development for some of the most exciting projects in DeFi.
Candidate Requirements
We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and strategic insight.
Minimum requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in crypto, specifically DeFi
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with comfort in Python for data analysis
- Solid grasp of statistical concepts and applied quantitative methods
- Ability to synthesize technical and qualitative findings into clear insights
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable skills:
- Prior experience with risk management in DeFi or traditional finance
- Familiarity with dbt or Hex (data notebooks/analytics tooling)
- A generalist mindset with the ability to switch contexts across the data stack
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at Objective Labs, your day-to-day will include:
- Conducting research and analysis on DeFi protocols, markets, and risk vectors
- Supporting clients with requests, reporting, and dashboards
- Contributing to internal risk frameworks and tooling
- Writing and maintaining SQL queries and Python scripts for analysis
- Applying statistical methods to evaluate performance and risk
- Producing high-quality reports, memos, and insights for clients and internal decision-making
