Job Description

CAKES Body, the viral DTC undergarments brand behind a $100M sensation, is looking for a sharp and creative Digital Ad Editor to join their fast-moving marketing team. Built by two sisters and powered by bold storytelling, the brand is redefining comfort, confidence, and women’s everyday essentials and now they’re gearing up for their next big chapter.

In this freelance role (around 10 hours per week), you’ll help shape the ads and creative content that fuel CAKES’ rapid growth. You’ll work with the founders and the creative/performance teams to turn ideas, insights, and raw scripts into scroll-stopping digital ads for paid social, organic content, landing pages, and short-form videos.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit and refine scripts, ad copy, and creative concepts
  • Shape high-performing ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and more
  • Manage the ad content pipeline and ensure everything feels bold, playful, and on-brand
  • Optimize creative based on performance insights
  • Collaborate closely with founders and the creative team to keep messaging sharp and cohesive

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong editorial instincts and top-tier writing skills
  • Experience in content strategy, editing, or DTC/social-first creative
  • Understanding of short-form content and high-performing ad trends
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with strong organization skills
  • A passion for storytelling, digital culture, and smart, customer-focused messaging
  • Background in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or similar experience
