1.) NYSC – Field Engineer

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

  • Assist in supervising daily field telecom activities, including civil works, cable laying, splicing, and equipment installation, ensuring compliance with project plans, technical specifications, and safety standards.
  • Support the coordination of site teams, contractors, and vendors to monitor project progress and report site-related issues to the Project Manager.
  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports detailing work completed, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and materials consumed.
  • Assist in tracking key project metrics, including completed sites, pending activities (both on IHS and company projects), and preparing project status updates.
  • Support the identification and documentation of telecom material and equipment requirements, including fiber optic cables, hardware, splices, cabinets, and power systems.
  • Follow up with approved vendors and suppliers on quotations, delivery schedules, and documentation to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
  • Assist in tracking invoices and supporting documents from contractors and suppliers and verify that documentation is complete before submission for payment processing.
  • Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on assigned action items.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements during field operations.
  • Perform other field engineering and project-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement

  • Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member.
  • B.Eng./B.Tech/HND in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles and telecommunications infrastructure is an added advantage.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally in a field engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel within Abuja and surrounding project locations when required.

2.) NYSC – Administrative Officer, Lugbe

  • Location: Lugbe, Abuja
  • Salary: N70,000

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

  • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and telephone inquiries.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain office records, files, and documentation.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff as required.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on assigned action items.
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate procurement requests when necessary.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other administrative documents.
  • Receive and attend to visitors, clients, and vendors professionally.
  • Support the coordination of logistics for office activities and project-related operations.
  • Ensure proper filing and retrieval of documents in both physical and electronic formats.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement

  • Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member.
  • Bachelor\’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Technology and Management, Management, or any related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

  • Salary: N250,000

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

  • Supervise daily field telecom activities, including civil works, cable laying, splicing, and equipment installation, ensuring compliance with project plans, technical specifications, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and vendors to monitor project progress, resolve site-related issues, and escalate critical delays to the Project Manager.
  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports detailing completed work, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and materials consumed.
  • Track key project metrics, including completed sites, pending activities (both on IHS and company projects), and provide status updates with recommended action plans.
  • Identify and document telecom material and equipment requirements, including fiber optic cables, hardware, splices, cabinets, power systems, and other project-related materials.
  • Follow up with approved vendors and suppliers to obtain quotations, delivery schedules, and required documentation, ensuring the timely delivery of materials to project sites.
  • Track invoices and supporting documentation from contractors and suppliers for telecom works and materials.
  • Verify that invoices correspond with work orders, delivery notes, and approved documentation before submission for payment, while escalating any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure stakeholders remain informed of project progress and outstanding tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements throughout project execution.
  • Perform any other field engineering and project-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement

  • Bachelor\’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years relevant experience in field engineering, telecommunications, or infrastructure project execution.
  • Experience supervising telecom site activities, including installation, maintenance, and project coordination.
  • Basic knowledge of telecom infrastructure, fiber optic networks, power systems, and site deployment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel within Kebbi State and other project locations as required.
