About the Role
As an Egocentric Video Data Collector, you will record everyday tasks from your perspective using a head-mounted smartphone or smart glasses. The footage will help AI systems better understand human actions and interactions in real-world environments.
Activities may include simple tasks such as cleaning, organizing, cooking, sorting items, and other routine daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
Video Data Collection
- Record first-person (POV) videos of daily activities
- Capture natural interactions between your hands, objects, and surroundings
- Wear a head-mounted smartphone or smart glasses during recordings
Follow Recording Guidelines
- Maintain proper lighting and camera positioning
- Record videos in the required format, orientation, and resolution
- Ensure footage meets project quality standards
File Upload & Documentation
- Upload raw, unedited video files to designated project portals
- Complete simple metadata and project forms
- Submit recordings within agreed timelines
Quality Assurance Support
- Work with the QA team to address feedback
- Re-record videos when necessary to meet project requirements
- Ensure recordings comply with technical guidelines
Requirement
- Access to a modern smartphone capable of recording: 1080p video resolution, 30 FPS or 60 FPS
- Head mounts or recording straps may be provided by the employer
- Access to a residential or workspace environment suitable for recording daily activities
