About Us

• Fairsure Payment Limited is a fast-growing fintech company providing innovative digital payment solutions through USSD, card, and transfer channels.
• We are expanding our development team and seeking a passionate Frontend Developer Intern to join us in building a next-generation payment gateway platform.

Role Overview

• The Frontend Developer Intern will work closely with our development team to design, develop, and optimize user interfaces for our fintech solutions.
• The role offers valuable hands-on experience, mentorship, and an opportunity for retention as a full-time developer upon successful completion of the internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Support in integrating frontend designs with backend APIs and payment services.
• Collaborate with designers to implement clean and functional UI components.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Contribute ideas for improving user experience and platform performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in frontend development (internship, freelance, or project-based).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Familiarity with at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and Git/GitHub.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow within a fast-paced fintech environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a hybrid setup.

Backend Developer Intern (Hybrid)

• We’re looking for a Backend Developer Intern who is passionate about building scalable systems and eager to gain real-world experience working on our payment gateway platform.

Role Overview

• The Backend Developer Intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs that power Fairsure’s payment infrastructure.
• This role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in fintech backend development — with a clear path to full-time employment after the internship period based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in developing and maintaining backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and MySQL.
• Assist with the integration of third-party APIs and payment processors.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under supervision.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless data exchange.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Learn and apply best practices in fintech system security and architecture.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in backend development (project-based, internship, or freelance).
• Solid understanding of Java and Spring Boot (experience with PHP, Node.js, or Python is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures.
