Job Description

Thamani for Women and Youth Development Initiative is excited to announce an open call for applications from passionate, dedicated, and impact-driven individuals who are eager to contribute to community development and social transformation.

As an organization committed to empowering women, uplifting young people, and promoting inclusive and sustainable development, we are expanding our team and seeking qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Available Positions

  • Finance Officer
  • Programs Officer

Eligibility Requirements

Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within diverse teams and community settings.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Show a strong commitment to volunteerism, community engagement, and social development initiatives.
  • Demonstrate the willingness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Possess strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in volunteering, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), or community-based development projects will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Officer

The Finance Officer will support the organization’s financial management processes, including budgeting, financial planning, record-keeping, reporting, and compliance. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficient utilization of organizational resources.

Programs Officer

The Programs Officer will support the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of development programmes focused on women and youth empowerment, community engagement, capacity building, and sustainable development initiatives.

Both positions require proactive, ethical, and highly motivated individuals who can work independently while collaborating effectively with team members, partners, and stakeholders.
