- A Finance Officer is responsible for managing an organization’s financial activities and ensuring proper financial control.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Officer at Health Assur Ltd
- Financial Planning and Budgeting Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping Maintain accurate financial records.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Process payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor and collect outstanding receivables.
- Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Present financial information to management for decision-making.
- Cash Flow Management Monitor cash inflows and outflows.
- Ensure sufficient funds are available for operations.
- Payroll Administration Process employee salaries and statutory deductions.
- Ensure timely remittance of taxes, pensions, and other deductions.
- Compliance and Tax Management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and file tax returns and statutory reports.
- Internal Controls and Audits Implement financial controls to prevent fraud and errors.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management Manage relationships with banks, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve payment issues.
- Financial Analysis Analyze financial data and trends.
- Provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
