About the Role

In this role, you’ll work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to craft user-friendly tools and SDKs that empower Web3 builders to deliver better products faster. What You’ll Do

As a Frontend Engineer at Lisk, you’ll take the lead on creating elegant, functional, and future-ready frontend solutions. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Leading Technical Direction – Shape the architecture, design, and overall quality of Lisk’s frontend systems.
• Coding with Excellence – Write clean, scalable, and high-performance code using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborating Cross-Functionally – Partner with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, end-to-end features.
• Maintaining Code Quality – Conduct code reviews, ensure testing coverage, and drive performance and accessibility best practices.
• Mentoring & Supporting Peers – Guide other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and structured learning.
• Problem Solving – Anticipate challenges, make architectural trade-offs, and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Knowledge Sharing – Contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you’ll need both technical skill and a collaborative mindset.

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, state management, build tools).
• Ability to make architectural decisions and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring and supporting other engineers.
• A collaborative mindset; able to align technical execution with product and design goals.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with blockchain technologies and Ethereum ecosystems.
• Experience with libraries like web3.js or ethers.js.
• Understanding of Web3 integrations (wallets, smart contracts, APIs).
