About the Role

Tongston is looking for a backend-focused engineer who will play a key role in developing and scaling the T-World platform. The successful candidate will primarily focus on backend development using Node.js and MongoDB while supporting frontend development with React when needed.

You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers in an Agile environment to build secure, scalable, and AI-enabled applications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will:

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Design, optimize, and manage MongoDB databases for performance and reliability.
• Integrate authentication, cloud storage, and third-party services.
• Develop AI-powered features such as intelligent assistants, search, and content generation.
• Implement secure and reliable AI workflows with proper error handling, caching, and monitoring.
• Support React components required for internal tools and product features.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless communication between the user interface and backend services.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, testing, and continuous product improvement.
• Contribute to deployment pipelines, documentation, and backend security best practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Excellent knowledge of MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, aggregation, and performance optimization.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend architectures.
• Working knowledge of React for frontend integration tasks.
• Familiarity with Git and deployment workflows.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced remote environment.
