Fully Funded Erasmus Mundus MIPDaL Scholarship 2026/28

MIPDaL is a high-level and integrated international study programme at master level aimed at providing top level graduate students from all over the world with advanced training in IP & Data Law.

Six high-level universities from Germany, France, Estonia, Spain and the UK acting as the MIPDaL Consortium set up the program in an international partnership.

The MIPDaL programme offers a unique opportunity for all potential students to take part in the program with scholarships funded by the European Commission.

Up to 60 scholarships can be awarded throughout the program period of 5 years, allowing for a maximum of 12 students to be funded per year.

Scholarship holders do not pay tuition fees to the consortium, nor additional fees to the UK partner universities. Aditionally, they receive funding to cover their monthly expenses for accomodation, travelling, etc.

Program Structure

1st MIPDaL Semester:

  • Venues (Universities): TUD (Technische Universität Dresden), UC3M (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid), TalTech (Tallinn University of Technology), or UNISTRA/CEIPI (Université de Strasbourg/Centre d’études internationales de la propriété intellectuelle).

2nd MIPDaL Semester:

  • The second semester is dedicated to one of three specialization tracks, followed by the Master’s Thesis.

Eligibility Criterias for the Erasmus Mundus MIPDaL Scholarship 2026/28

  • Candidates from all countries are eligible.
  • Your two countries of study must be different from your country of residence at the time of enrolment.
  • Academic Degree: You must have an equivalent to a four-year degree, like a Bachelor’s + first Master’s, or a four-year Bachelor’s.
  • Conditional Offer: May be granted if you’ve completed 80% of the credits and provide proof of completion by a specified date.
  • Language Proficiency in Either English, Spanish, or French.
  • Proof of Language Proficiency test is required.
