Job Description

GlobalPay is Hiring for Multiple Roles in Lagos, Nigeria

Global Pay Limited is recruiting qualified professionals to fill multiple positions across its Business Development, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Customer Success, Engineering and Human Resources teams in Lagos.

The opportunities range from junior-level technical and customer service positions to experienced specialist and management roles. Most positions are full-time and onsite, while the Business Development Manager role is hybrid.

Available Positions

1. Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will lead growth initiatives across GlobalPay’s payment and switching business lines, including merchant acquisition, partnerships and revenue development.

2. Settlement and Chargeback Specialist

The successful candidate will manage transaction settlements, reconciliation, chargebacks and disputes across GlobalPay’s card and switching operations.

  • Understanding of card scheme settlement and chargeback processes
  • Knowledge of Visa, Mastercard and Verve operations is valuable
  • Strong reconciliation, analytical and investigative skills
  • Familiarity with CBN guidelines on settlement and dispute resolution

3. Accountant

The Accountant will support GlobalPay’s day-to-day financial operations, including accounting records, reconciliation, financial reporting, taxation and audit activities.

  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian taxation, including VAT, WHT, PAYE and CIT
  • Experience with accounting or ERP software such as QuickBooks, Sage or SAP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • ICAN or ACCA certification, or certification in view, is an advantage

4. Compliance Officer

The Compliance Officer will support GlobalPay’s regulatory, AML/CFT and risk-compliance functions and help ensure operations comply with applicable Nigerian financial regulations.

  • Knowledge of AML/CFT/CPF, KYC/KYB and sanctions-screening requirements

5. Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative will serve as a frontline contact for customers and merchants, helping resolve transaction issues and providing support across GlobalPay’s payment services.

Key Requirements:

  • OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

  • Strong active-listening, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Familiarity with CRM/helpdesk platforms such as Zendesk, Freshdesk or HubSpot is useful

6. Junior Java Developer

The Junior Java Developer will support the development and maintenance of backend systems powering GlobalPay’s transaction processing and payment services.
