Job Description
The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition 2026 is back to empower Africa’s young food warriors driving innovation across the continent’s agrifood sector.
Young agripreneurs stand a chance to win a massive US$50,000 Grand Prize to scale their businesses and transform Africa’s food systems. Selected finalists will also gain mentorship, global exposure, and the opportunity to attend the prestigious Africa Food Systems Forum (AFSF) in Kigali, Rwanda.

About the Competition
The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition is one of Africa’s leading platforms for youth-led agribusiness ventures. The initiative recognizes innovative, scalable, and impact-driven businesses transforming the food system through technology, sustainability, climate resilience, nutrition, and job creation.
Generation Africa is a partnership initiative founded by Econet and Yara International to strengthen the ecosystem for youth entrepreneurs in the agri-food sector across Africa.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply, applicants must:
- Be between 18–35 years old at the time of application
- Be citizens of an African Union member state
- Own or co-own an agrifood venture headquartered in Africa
- Have a legally registered business (or register before June 28, 2026)
- Play an active leadership role in the business
- Have no criminal record related to corruption or financial crimes
