Job Description
HBM Nigeria Plc (formerly Lafarge Africa Plc) has one of the widest footprints in Nigeria, with cement manufacturing operations in the South West (Ewekoro and Sagamu, Ogun State), North East (Ashaka, Gombe State), and South East (Mfamosing, Cross River State).
The company also operates Ready-Mix facilities in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.
Applications are now open to suitably qualified candidates for the Female Tilers & Block-Laying Training Programme and the Disability to Ability (D2A) Programme.
About the Programmes
HBM Nigeria Plc, in partnership with the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development, Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development/LSETF, and Cross River State Ministry of Women Affairs, is reopening applications for two practical skills development programmes designed to equip Nigerians with employable, income-generating skills.
1. Female Tilers & Block-Laying Training Programme
Participants will receive practical training in:
- Wall & Floor Tiling
- Block-Laying (Masonry)
- Construction Site Safety
2. Disability to Ability (D2A) Programme
The programme offers practical skills training in:
- Phone & Laptop Repairs
- Make-Up & Gele
- Wig & Braids Making
- Shoe & Bag Making
Location: Lagos State
General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Possess a minimum of SSCE.
- Be based in the respective programme location.
