Humbly Confident Security Engineer at YNAB

YNAB is hiring a Security Engineer to help protect the trust millions of people place in our financial education platform. You’ll work hands-on with security tooling, architecture, monitoring, and incident response to keep YNAB secure.

What you’ll do

• Implement and maintain security controls, tooling, and monitoring
• Partner with engineers on secure design, code reviews, and threat modeling
• Monitor security events, investigate threats, and support incident response

• Improve security standards, automation, and infrastructure

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years in security engineering, software engineering, DevOps, or IT security
• Practical application security experience (reviews, threat modeling, SAST/DAST)
• Experience with security logging/monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, ELK)
