Health & Safety Officer
  • Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment by conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing safety policies, training employees on safety protocols, investigating incidents, monitoring compliance, and maintaining accurate safety records.
  • This role plays a key part in fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and review workplace health and safety policies.
  • Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective measures.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to health and safety activities.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Safety Management, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a health and safety role.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Occupational Health Specialist (COHS), OSHA, or NEBOSH are required.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and training skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Human Resource Officer

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will support the HR department in implementing policies, managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, and development programs.
  • Handle employee relations and promptly address staff concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist with performance management processes.
  • Provide HR reports to management as required.

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Auditor to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for examining financial records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct internal audits across departments to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Review financial statements, expense reports, and accounting records for accuracy.
  • Evaluate internal control systems, identify weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.

  • B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial regulations, and internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, objectivity, and attention to detail.
