Internal Audit Officer

  • Location: Lagos

Summary

  • The Internal Auditor is responsible for providing independent assurance on the Bank’s risk management, control, and governance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Audit Planning & Execution: Develop annual audit plans, conduct risk-based audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas, and verify accuracy of records and transactions.
  • Control Evaluation & Risk Management: Assess adequacy of process design and effectiveness of internal controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Reporting & Advisory: Prepare clear audit reports, present findings to management and the Audit Committee, and provide independent advice to support corporate objectives.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements, keeping abreast of industry and regulatory changes.
  • Fraud Detection & Investigation: Investigate suspected fraud or irregularities, recommend preventive measures, and support anti-fraud initiatives.
  • Follow-up & Process Improvement: Monitor implementation of audit recommendations, promote efficiency in business processes, and safeguard the Bank’s assets.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional audit-related responsibilities as may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Internal auditor in a Microfinance Bank is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Chief Marketing Officer

  • Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the bank’s business goals.
  • Lead brand development, positioning, and communications strategies across all channels.
  • Oversee market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends.
  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through targeted campaigns.
  • Manage digital and traditional marketing efforts including social media, PR, advertising, and events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and operations to ensure alignment.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
  • Monitor KPIs and ROI of marketing initiatives and optimize performance accordingly.
  • Champion innovation in marketing technology and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or professional marketing certification is a plus).
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/executive role within the financial services, microfinance.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian financial market and customer behavior.
  • Proven track record of brand building, digital transformation, and marketing-led growth.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to marketing.

HR / Secretarial Officer

  • Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:

Human Resources Functions:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding to attract and retain top talent.
  • Workforce1a Management: Maintain employee records, oversee staff deployment, and ensure optimal workforce utilization.
  • Employee Engagement: Design and implement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, collaboration, and workplace culture.
  • Learning & Development: Develop and monitor training programs to support professional growth and organizational capability.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate the appraisal process, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with business goals.
  • Exit Management: Oversee offboarding, conduct exit interviews, and provide insights for retention strategies.

Legal & Compliance Functions:

  • Draft, review, and update employment contracts, HR policies, and legal documents.

  • CAC Processing & Secretarial Services: Handle corporate filings, company secretarial duties, board resolutions, statutory returns, and other CAC-related documentation.
  • Support corporate governance by maintaining statutory records and ensuring timely submission of regulatory filings.
