A growing family, travel, and lifestyle content brand is looking for a Junior Content Assistant to join its remote team. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and excited about working behind the scenes to help create engaging content across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
About the Role
As a Junior Content Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day content production process. From reviewing video footage and preparing editing briefs to scheduling social media posts and researching content ideas, you’ll help ensure content is organized, published on time, and optimized for audience engagement.
This position is well suited to candidates with transferable experience in content creation, administration, project coordination, communications, or social media management.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Reviewing vlog footage and identifying engaging moments.
- Suggesting clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
- Organizing content files, publishing schedules, and creative ideas.
- Coordinating with video editors and tracking deadlines.
- Preparing clear editing instructions and content briefs.
- Uploading and scheduling content across multiple platforms.
- Researching social media trends and content opportunities.
- Monitoring content performance to identify successful formats.
- Managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
- Communicating updates, challenges, and progress with the team.
