Job Description
The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), the government agency responsible for overseeing and delivering basic education (primary and junior secondary) across Lagos State, Nigeria, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for its 2025 recruitment exercise.
Following the approval of Mr. Governor, LASUBEB has officially opened its application portal for individuals who are passionate about education and committed to enhancing learning outcomes in Lagos State.
Available Position
- Classroom Teacher
We are looking for dedicated and qualified educators to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality basic education across the state.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the position, applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
- Higher National Diploma (HND) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed., B.A.Ed., B.Sc.Ed.)
- Master’s Degree in Education (M.Ed., M.Sc.Ed.)
In addition, candidates must provide:
- Valid O’ Level Certificate (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
- Degree or NCE Certificate
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate (as applicable)
