About the Role: Level Designer (Unity 3D)
Gameloft is seeking a Level Designer to help create exciting and fun levels for an upcoming casual-core 3D runner/platformer game built on Unity. You’ll be responsible for balancing challenge and accessibility, designing engaging gameplay experiences, and ensuring levels are both fun to play and visually captivating.
This is a chance to own the entire level creation process from planning to execution—while collaborating with a multicultural and creative dev team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong experience creating 3D levels in Unity
- Ability to balance gameplay between too easy and too hard
- Skilled in designing gameplay sequences that are fun, challenging, and replayable
- Storytelling through environment and level design (no text needed)
- Strong iteration mindset: refine, test, and perfect gameplay loops
- Analytical mindset—trusts intuition but validates with stats & player data
- Highly organized and detail-oriented

Passion for gaming
Bonus points if you have:
- Previous Game/Level Design experience on shipped titles
- Skills in programming, scripting, 2D/3D asset creation, narrative writing, or cinematics
- Content management or multi-disciplinary creative background
Responsibilities

- Create fun, challenging, and visually engaging levels that align with the game’s narrative and difficulty curve
- Balance gameplay, pacing, and player progression
- Use data and playtesting to refine designs and deliver the best possible player experience
