Job Description
Applications are now open for the Data Entry Clerk position at Management Sciences for Health under the Program for Equitable Expansion of Community Health Workers in Nigeria (PEECH), funded by Mastercard Foundation.
MSH is a global health organization committed to saving lives and improving the health of vulnerable populations by bridging the gap between knowledge and action in public health.
The PEECH programme aims to reskill and upskill over 44,000 Community-Based Health Workers (CBHWs) across 17 states and the FCT by 2025 through workforce development, institutional strengthening, community engagement, and digital health solutions.
Job Details
- Job Title: Data Entry Clerk
- Location: Kaduna, Niger, Plateau, Katsina, Borno, Yobe, and FCT
- Supervisor: M&E Manager
Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Obtain informed consent from study participants before data collection in line with ethical standards.
- Administer questionnaires and checklists accurately and consistently.
- Conduct qualitative data collection, including Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), using approved interview guides.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of collected data through immediate review of questionnaires and interview records.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard participant information throughout the data collection process.
- Support data cleaning and validation by identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
- Submit completed tools and field reports promptly according to assessment protocols.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- At least 2 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic statistical packages.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with data collection tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, patience, and initiative.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A university degree will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
Experience in report writing.
- Ability to collate and analyze data after field exercises.
- Proficiency in data collection and statistical tools such as MS Excel and MS Word.
- A certificate showing computer proficiency will be an added advantage.
