About the Role
The Mathematics Tutor will teach students aged 5–18 in one-on-one or small-group virtual classes. You will simplify complex math concepts, guide problem-solving, and create an interactive learning environment that supports academic growth. This is a contract role, with payment based on the number of teaching hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons covering arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
- Break down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps
- Assess student progress through assignments and quizzes
- Provide feedback to parents on student performance
- Use digital tools and interactive teaching methods
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years teaching or tutoring experience
- Strong knowledge of core Mathematics concepts
- Experience teaching children and teenagers
- Good communication skills and patience
- Reliable internet connection for virtual teaching
