Protocol Engineer at OP Labs
Job Description
OP Labs; the team scaling Ethereum through the OP Stack and Superchain is hiring a Protocol Engineer to join their Proofs Team. In this role, you’ll help develop the infrastructure that enables secure, permissionless fund withdrawals and enhances the backbone of the Superchain ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Advance OP Labs’ proof system using ZK validity proofs and a multi-proof architecture.
- Build and maintain Rust- and Go-based infrastructure for the OP Stack.
- Strengthen network security through monitoring and automation improvements.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience with Rust, Go, or similar languages.
- Proven blockchain development background and understanding of cryptographic principles.
- Solid knowledge of systems programming or protocol engineering.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Bonus Points

Experience with Solidity, Zero Knowledge Proofs, or ZK VMs.
