Job Description
- We are seeking a results-driven and hospitable Restaurant Manager to oversee our daily operations.
- You will be the cornerstone of our establishment, bridging the gap between staff, customers, and ownership to ensure seamless service, high profitability, and an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day front-of-house and back-of-house activities, including opening/closing procedures and facility maintenance.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team.
- Financial Control: Monitor budgets, control operational costs (COGS and labor), and identify ways to reduce waste and maximize revenue.
- Guest Relations: Interact with customers to build loyalty, gather feedback, and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as licensing laws.
- Inventory Management: Order food, beverages, and supplies while maintaining optimal stock levels.
Requirements
Education:
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum: 1–2 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant or service industry.
Skills:
- Leadership: Ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with guests, staff, and vendors.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for making quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of P&L statements, budgeting, and basic accounting.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, reservation software, and Microsoft Office.
