Scriptwriter

Jobvet Services is recruiting on behalf of a client that operates a remote writing team to fill the position of Scriptwriter.

This opportunity is ideal for a creative writer who enjoys developing stories, creating engaging narratives, and turning ideas into compelling written content. The successful candidate will work with a team to produce quality scripts that capture attention and connect with audiences.

Responsibilities

As a Scriptwriter, you will be expected to:

• Write captivating scripts for different formats and audiences.
• Develop original stories and engaging narratives from ideas or concepts.
• Edit and revise scripts to improve clarity, flow, and audience engagement.
• Collaborate with other team members on writing projects.
• Conduct research to add depth, accuracy, and context to stories.
• Keep up with writing trends, audience interests, and industry developments.
• Deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines.

Requirements

Interested candidates should:

• Be able to create and write stories independently, even from scratch.
• Have strong written English and a good understanding of literature.
• Possess excellent storytelling and creative writing skills.
• Demonstrate originality and the ability to develop fresh ideas.
• Be able to work effectively under deadlines.
• Be comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a writing team.

Salary

The successful candidate will earn between ₦80,000 and ₦90,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
