About the Role

As Security Administration Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and coordination across key areas of the company’s Corporate Security function.

The position goes beyond day-to-day physical security. It combines security governance, financial and resource management, vendor oversight, workforce management, compliance, intelligence reporting and operational risk management.

You will work with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that security resources are effectively managed and that the company maintains strong systems for protecting its employees, facilities, assets and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Strengthen security governance by implementing effective policies, controls and process improvements.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of security procedures and operating standards.
  • Manage security budgets and ensure resources are used efficiently.
  • Drive cost optimisation and financial compliance across security operations.
  • Oversee security vendors and service providers.
  • Coordinate and improve guard force management and security service delivery.
  • Monitor security operations and identify areas where processes, controls or resources can be improved.
  • Provide relevant security intelligence and risk insights to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare security reports and communicate important findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain appropriate security documentation and records.
  • Ensure security operations remain compliant with internal policies and applicable requirements.
  • Support audit readiness and address identified compliance or operational gaps.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate security and operational risks.
  • Build productive relationships with internal departments, security partners, vendors and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Use reporting and performance information to drive continuous improvement across Corporate Security.

Requirements

Applicants are expected to have:

  • At least five O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English, plus three other relevant subjects.
  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1).
  • Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Social Sciences, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A recognised professional security certification such as CPP, PSP, PCI or CSMP.
  • At least 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • NYSC Discharge Certificate or Certificate of Exemption.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Experience within the FMCG industry is preferred. Previous professional experience with the Military, Nigeria Police Force or Department of State Services (DSS) is also an advantage.

A Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Professional Certifications

A relevant professional security certification is mandatory. Accepted examples listed by Nigerian Breweries include:

  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
  • Physical Security Professional (PSP)
  • Professional Certified Investigator (PCI)
  • Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP)

Candidates should be prepared to submit their relevant professional security certification alongside their CV.
