Korapay is currently hiring a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join its remote Information Security team in Nigeria. What You’ll Do
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and cloud tools
- Investigate cybersecurity threats including phishing, malware, and unauthorized access
- Perform threat hunting and vulnerability management activities
- Support incident response, remediation, and post-incident reviews
- Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to strengthen security controls
- Prepare SOC reports, dashboards, and incident documentation
- Help improve detection rules and response playbooks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 2–4 years experience in SOC, cybersecurity, or IT security roles
- Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, Defender, or similar
- Good understanding of network security, attack vectors, and incident response
- Knowledge of frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or ISO 27001
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) are an added advantage
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
