Smart Contract Engineer at Ostium

Ostium is building the best place to trade real-world assets onchain. We’re looking for a Smart Contract Engineer to design and ship Solidity contracts powering perpetual trading on assets like Gold, the S&P 500, and Tesla.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and audit gas-efficient, upgradeable Solidity contracts
• Implement core perp logic: margining, funding rates, liquidations, and execution
• Integrate Chainlink and off-chain oracle systems
• Write and maintain robust tests using Foundry
• Collaborate with backend engineers on protocol integrations

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Solidity skills and deep EVM knowledge
• Experience with Foundry, Hardhat, and DeFi primitives
• Familiarity with upgrade patterns, oracle systems, and on-chain security

• 2+ years building Web3 or DeFi protocols (preferred)
