Program Description
The Social Media Advocates Program is designed to engage young people in digital advocacy efforts focused on ending child marriage and promoting the rights of children and young women.
Selected participants will receive training and support to become effective advocates who can leverage social media platforms to create awareness, and promote positive social change within their communities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
- Be residents of any of the following focal states:
- Adamawa
- Bauchi
- Borno
- Kaduna
- Kano
- Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
- Be available to participate in a 3-day virtual training scheduled for July.
- Demonstrate an interest in social advocacy, community development, youth engagement, or digital campaigns.
- Possess a willingness to learn and actively contribute to advocacy activities.
- Have access to a mobile device, computer, and reliable internet connection for virtual participation.
- Be committed to promoting positive social change within their communities.
