About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer (Platform) to join our global, fully remote team. You’ll help build and scale the core backend systems powering Speechify’s ecosystem, from payments and analytics to subscriptions and text-to-speech APIs.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving complex problems, and wants to help shape the future of audio learning technology.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain APIs for payments, subscriptions, and authentication.
- Improve backend performance and reliability across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product goals.

Support enterprise-level B2B integrations and solutions.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js.
- Hands-on knowledge of GCP (bonus if familiar with AWS or Azure).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
- Strong communication, ownership, and execution skills.
